    elo,
    vreau si io sa stiu ce se intampla daca reduc voltajul de la 1.325V la 1.25, pastrand frecventa stock a procului. exista vreun risc ceva? beneficii? am impresia ca ar trebui sa mai scada temperatura procului, asa e?

    Daca procesorul este stabil la frecventa stock cu 1.25v, scade temperatura. In principiu trebuie sa testezi si sa vezi cat poti reduce voltajul pastrand sistemul stabil (scazi 1-2 trepte, bagi un orthos, etc). Dar, tinand cont ca exista functia C1E nu vad de ce ai avea nevoie sa faci asta

    ok,
    nu vreau sa se incinga prea tare in load, cand cu C1E revine la 1.325... si ma gandeam ca asa pot scadea temperatura din load.

    Pai....depinde si de racire, air-flow-ul din carcasa, pasta termoconductoare folosita...etc...etc

    Te-ai gindit bine. Scade Vcore in pasi mici, testeaza cu Orthos sa vezi daca e stabil in full-load si tot asa pina gasesti cel mai mic Vcore la care procesorul e stabil in full-load.
    Ca o regula empirica: temperatura scade/creste proportional cu frecventa si ^2 cu tensiunea.
    ...un fleac...m-au ciuruit...

    ok. din experienta voastra, dauneaza procesorului sau placii de baza aceasta operatiune? - in timp...

    La mine de peste un an nu vad efecte daunatoare.
    Si eu am ajuns la extrem pe X2: 800 MHz cu 0.900V Vcore.
    ...un fleac...m-au ciuruit...

    multam fain.
    asta ar fi o solutie cand nu ai bani de cooler si esti pe cel stock.
    in principiu o sa fac asta si la un Q6600 ca acolo-i marea buba, ajunge in load la 70-71C.. daca reusesc sa-l tin sub 70.. ar fi super.
